Preserving the Heritage of the Hunt
Mitchell & Susan Bain · Wisconsin Rapids
The Trophy Room Collective was born from a passion for wildlife, adventure, and the artistry of taxidermy.
Mitchell has always been an avid hunter with a deep appreciation for whitetail deer and quality taxidermy. In 2025, he had the opportunity to go on an African safari hunt — and it completely changed his perspective. He fell in love with Africa, its wildlife, and the incredible beauty of the animals there.
The following year, in 2026, he took me back with him on an eight-day safari of our own. I had never hunted before, but the experience was unforgettable. Seeing these amazing animals in person gave me an entirely new appreciation for wildlife and conservation. During that trip, I harvested my first animals — a springbok and a blesbok.
When we returned home and waited for our mounts to arrive from Africa, we found ourselves drawn even deeper into the world of African taxidermy. We realized how unique and beautiful these pieces truly are — and wanted to share that passion with others.
That idea became The Trophy Room Collective: a place where we can share our love for wildlife, craftsmanship, and the incredible animals that inspire us.
Whether you're a hunter, a collector, or simply someone who appreciates rustic design and wildlife art — we hope you love these pieces as much as we do.
